Manager - Investment Banking Operations - Asset Servicing

A varied role for Asset Servicing office Investment Banking Operations aspirants. It involves processing of global dividends, coupons and corporate actions. The individual is responsible for the day to day management of the Dividend & Corporate action area, the right candidate will assist in setting strategy and mitigate risk across all asset classes, geographies and asset servicing events.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Ensure of cover process like Announcement Capturing, Notification & position management, CA & Income Event management, Deadline & Election Management, Claims Management, Reconciliations, Interaction with Front office, street counterparties

- Noise less & flaw less Service delivery -

- Day-to-day management of the team i.e. managing their workload, one-to-ones, setting objectives etc.

- Define scope and functionality of Global Asset Services IT Platform in relation to Dividend functionality

- Taking care of overall capital market product operations, which includes Asset Servicing.

- Managing oversight of all KRI's and KPIs for specialized sources which ranges from 15 to 20 people

- Working knowledge of trade lifecycle and associated activities

- Contributing to team objectives and deadlines

- Managing day-to-day processes across staff members including providing regular feedback, performance reviews and career development opportunities

REQUIREMENTS

- 10 + years in a Asset Servicing, Capital market Operations experience

- Strong Income & Corporate Actions knowledge across life cycle of an event is mandatory

- Experience managing a Corporate Actions team within a broker dealer environment.

- Ability to quickly understand new businesses

- A university degree holder, preferably in business administration, finance, capital markets, accounting and related subjects.

- Good knowledge and working experience in equities & fixed income products for Global Mark
