Responsible For: Management of the Internal Audit process, and Risk Management of all the Group Companies and their structures Responsible To: Chief Executive. Key Staff Relationships: Regional COO's, Finance Director, Audit team, Company accountants and Auditors. POSITION OVERVIEW: The Manager, Internal Audit and Risk Management is responsible for minimizing the risk to the Group of companies, by implementing internal control mechanisms to ensure financial procedures and structures are robust throughout the group. The manager is responsible for the Internal audit of various financial and IT functional processes, assess and mitigate the risks, and is also responsible for Planning, executing and reporting on expenses reimbursement compliance related audits/reviews of Group of companies. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: - Plans financial compliance audits. - Conducting and managing the expenses reimbursement audits of all the group companies. - Conducts risk assessments and identifies whether proper financial and IT controls are in place to mitigate identified risks. - Performs audit procedures to verify that controls are operating and effective through testing and interviewing techniques. - Analyses and concludes on effectiveness and efficiency of the control environment in the centralized finance section. - Identifies control gaps and opportunities for improvement. - Prepares timely audit reports for executive management. PERSON SPECIFICATION: - Hands on experience in process audits and risk management techniques conducted for some multinational companies. - Experience in managing audit teams including the supervision and guidance of the team to follow sound internal control practices and to manage risks appropriately. - Acts as a Team Player - Collaborate and supporting colleagues and peers across the organization, while still being able to work independently when needed. - Results Oriented - Meet deadlines on assignments, juggle multiple demands and to work with all types of individuals.
