Manager - Internal Audit - BFS

Direct and oversee Internal Audit Function. To provide high quality support to the Chief Auditor on key projects and issues, responding to ad hoc work requests, prioritising as appropriate and acting as a key point of contact for the region working with other Heads of Audit and the Audit Practices & Operations (AP&O).

Description :

1. Facilitate the scheduling of audits on Teammate and review staff utilisation, escalating white space.

2. Work with the SAMs and Heads of Audit (HoA) to construct the plan and help to agree inter-cluster and regional resource requirements.

3. Review the progress of the audit plan through weekly Management Information and in the weekly management meetings.

4. Support on People Agenda including engagement & Retention plans, facilitating action plans for client's View Surveys, Driving People initiatives, Pay process, talent management, JML (Joiner, Movers, Leavers) etc.. for the region.

5. Work with SAMs to ensure any thematic lessons learned from QA results are embedded within the teams.

6. Develop, implement, manage and deliver ad hoc projects as required within the region, linking in with AP&O/strategic work streams on the completion of IA wide projects.

7. Manage and co-ordinate the formal stakeholder presentations to local Risk and Audit Committees and occasionally with the BRC using the centrally agreed formats.

Profile

1. Experience in working in an internal audit function is essential, with a background in writing audit opinions and/or developing audit plans preferable

2. Effective relationship management skills

3. Min. 15 years of audit experience in the internal audit departments.
