Manager - Intellectual Property Rights - FMCG

We are looking for IPR Manager with one of the leading MNC Co. based in Mumbai a FMCG co.

Job Responsibilities :

Areas of Responsibility Description of responsibility

- IP Prosecution Integrate the existing trademark portfolio by following up on prosecution of files, contesting opposition proceedings, creating dockets for top trademarks

- Identifying IP assets Conduct an IP audit of the company to identify unprotected IP assets and protect the same.

- Streamlining International trademark portfolio Follow up on international trademark filings, identify key markets, make applications for protection of identified brands in key markets, create a network of attorneys to service international IP portfolio

- Design protection Create a process for protection of designs, devise offensive and defensive strategy for existing design portflio

- NPD process collaborate with marketing and R&D team to ensure protection of all IP rights in new product development

- Anti-Counterfeiting Develop a strategy and engage service providers to effectively counter lookalikes, counterfeits in India and global markets
