A leading FMCG is looking after Manager - Intellectual Property - Mumbai Purpose of the Role: - Handling the Intellectual Property Profile of the Company. Qualification &amp; Experience: - Law graduate from a recognized university having a work experience of atleast 3-4 years in IP, preferably with a law-firm. Key Deliverables of the Role: - Managing domestic IP profile of the company viz; trademarks, copyright, designs and patents which includes handling of all oppositions, rectification, prosecution and new applications domestic and international. - Collection of evidences internally. - Handling of searches and application for domestic, international and NCD countries. - Artwork checks from IP perspective. - IP litigation management. - Coordination with the law firms. Skills and Competencies: - Need to have good knowledge of Trademark, Copyright and Designs Act. - Good drafting skills. - Should have the exposure of court litigation particularly matters of infringement and passing-off of trademarks and copyright. Other Key Functional Interfaces: - This role will require working with the other business functions particularly R&amp;D, Marketing and Commercial functions.
