Institutional Sales Manager for a FMCG Company
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage the institutional sales across India and coordinate with other regional teams for Planning and Strategizing,
- Comes with a great Analytical and P&L skills and follow processes to manage leads in a CRM
- Should have a vast network and existing connects with Corporates and Institutions
- Explore new leads & expand the client base with out-of-the-box customized gifting ideas.
- Ability to liaison with mid or large sized territories & institutional clients.
- Communicate with customers to identify their requirements and assist them with selecting appropriate products that meet their specifications
- Should have hands on experience of using CRM tools
- Designing and implementing a strategic sales plan that expands company's customer base.
- Should be open to travel across country/ abroad for sales meetings with prospective clients.
- Strong in defining and meeting the Turn Around Time (TAT)
- Work closely with the R&D Team to develop a strong database, Identify the target Market and attract Potential Clients.
- Keeping up with ever-changing food production regulations
- Build a good business funnel in order to achieve monthly /quarterly business goals.
- Keep adding/converting new big housing societies, B2B customers and becoming their preferred partner
- End-to-end co-ordination of orders with manufacturing department & ensuring client
- Strategizing, execution and accountability for Sales targets with the Production and Operations Team.
- Should be open to domestic and overseas travel.
- Good relationship with business associates/distributors.
Critical Requirements :
- Minimum Post Graduate Degree in Business Management/Hotel Management from Tier I or II institutions or similar educational qualifications
- Minimum of 5-8 years; experience of corporate/B2B sales experience specially in Food and Beverage services (Not Dairy)
- Excellent presentation, communication and influencing skills, who works independently and has the drive to raise the bar.
- Innovative attitude, trying to do something new or finding a unique way to do things
- Proactive, adaptable and having strong communication & technical skills.
- Should be a great Team player with problem solving attitude.
- A go-getter to crack the market expansion strategies and grow the vertical.
- Budget for this role is flexible but not much.
