Manager - Inspection - Financial Services

Risk Based Supervision (RBS): 

1. Issuance of half yearly circular for RBS submission

2. Coordination with IT department for maintenance/development of RBS system, conduct UAT at half yearly basis

3. Coordination with various departments for RBS submission

4. Review and checking of RBS data and the assessment

5. Sharing of RBS assessment details with SEBI

6. Handling queries from regional Offices/Members regarding RBS

2. Internal Audit : 

1. Preparation of Audit checklist & issuance of half yearly circulars for Internal Audit report submission.

2. Analysis of Internal Audit Report.

3. Preparation of Agenda for placing cases before relevant authority for deciding suitable disciplinary actions for violations observed in Internal Audit Report.

4. Preparation of Minutes of the committee meeting

5. Issuance of action letters to members for the disciplinary actions decided by the relevant authority

6. Sending IOMs to the accounts department for debiting the penalty from the members.

7. Handling member queries w.r.t Internal Audit.

Role Description for: Manager

- To ensure that trading members/ stock brokers adhere to the regulatory norms by conducting their periodic monitoring, verification of member submissions, Inspection / Internal audit reports and regular follow up with members for the same. To oversee and monitor the pre-inspection and onsite inspection process and other pro compliance initiatives of the department.

3. Limited Purpose Inspections (LPI): 

1. Analysis of cases and deciding the scope for conducting Limited Purpose Inspections.

2. Reviewing the Inspection Reports received from the Regional Offices.

3. Sharing of LPI details with SEBI wherever required.

4. Monitoring and follow-ups for the conduct of LPIs.

4. Data collation and analysis for daily reports and adhoc requests

5. Collate data to cater to the request raised by external regulators like SEBI and various internal departments within NSE.

6. Collate and analyse data from other exchanges and internal NSE departments for Monthly Development report, Monthly Activity report, SEBI annual/ half yearly report to be sent to SEBI.

7. Collation of data to be displayed on website as regards action initiated against member

8. Monitoring and follow-ups for the conduct of LPIs

9. Review CLD Modification data provided by Investigation and propose LPI

10. Participate in automation of processes to improve operational efficiency in the Organisation

11. Periodical review of Inspection methodology.

5. IT Co-ordination:

 1. Provide system enhancement and development request to Inspection IT.

2. Undertake testing of the requirement in the UAT environment.

3. Ensure accuracy of release of the requirement in live environment.

4. Conduct periodic review meets with IT and HOD.

5. Co-ordinate with users at regional level for quarterly BCP activities.

6. Create new user in Inspection database and other modules in the system
