Manager - Innovation Foundation Purpose of the role: - To lead the Scale-Up program, ensuring continuous and smooth on-boarding and execution of projects. - To further the innovation agenda by conceptualizing new innovation initiatives and drive execution. Key deliverables of the role: SCALE-UP PROGRAM: - Managing the overall equity and efficiency of scale-up program in the start-up and innovation sector - Ensure on-boarding of relevant innovative start-ups, and closure of projects under the Scale-Up Program - Drive quantifiable impact for each organisation on multiple challenges under Scale-Up program, eg. increase in revenues, or decrease in costs, efficiency improvements - Improve mentor engagement and cohort engagement - Constantly improve the Scale-up program to make it increasingly relevant for a start-up's success - Build and maintain relevant partnerships within the start-up ecosystem, eg. venture capital firms, incubators, Govt. bodies - Create strategies and marketing plans for Scale-up to become a leading program in India and the most sought-after start-up program in India OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES: - NEW PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT: Conceptualize new initiatives & programs in line with the agenda and drive execution of such programs - Create and implement strategies to become leader in innovation ecosystem - Supervise finance function - Support the awards program and other programs that are currently run Skills and Competencies: - Strong business acumen / understanding - Analytical thinking & problem-solving ability - Ability to identify opportunities for start-ups- growth - Understanding of P&L and cash flow of early-stage start-ups - Strong communication & influencing skills - Ability to read and understand people well - Understanding of Indian start-up ecosystem - Ability to identify high quality founders - Ability to identify high-growth Reporting Relationships : - Upwards - Head of the company - Downwards - 2 direct reports Other Key Functional Interfaces: - The role involves heavy engagement and interaction with members across all levels. - The incumbent will work with senior members from the marketing, sales, finance, HR, supply chain and Admin functions to execute projects. - The incumbent will also be interacting with thought-leaders and business leaders across sectors - The role also involves regular interaction with the Chairman and working on projects for innovative start ups - Ability to operate with minimal supervision and in ambiguous environment, with senior leaders
