Manager - Information Technology - Venture Capital Funding Firm

Position: Manager-IT (Leading Venture Capital Funding Company)

Role :

- Analyse the business requirement and assess the solution/design delivered by development team, review functional & load testing result to ensure stability, scalability, integration and integrity of production systems

- Acts as subject matter expert (technical SME) in projects where the applications are impacted

- Analyse, Evaluate, Develop and implement new / existing technologies as per business requirements

- Evaluate & Purchase efficient and cost-effective technological equipment, software and security solutions

- Consult senior-level stakeholders across the entire organization to identify business and technology needs and to optimize the use of information technology

- Identify the need for upgrades, configurations or new systems and report to top management.

- Monitor and provide support to production streams and provide expert knowledge on all workflow designs for supported applications

- Handle change management/improvements in IT systems

- Design and execute techniques to enhance productivity and efficiency and reduce risks

- Drive automation to reduce the manual efforts performed by the team

- Ability to effectively resolve IT/IS related issue(s) within TAT

- Create processes and standards for selection, implementation, and support of systems

- Handle Asset Management during the entire life cycle

- Handle IT / IS audits and ensure closures of critical findings

- Handle procurement process and control IT budget and report on expenditure.

- Work with external vendors' technical support teams to resolve issues and deliver strategic enhancements.

- Ability to select Vendors and negotiate with Vendors for IT Services, procurement of IT Infrastructure, Software, other IT and Security related products and to manage their performance

- Monitor day to day activities, processes and ensure smooth functioning of IT operations

- Ensuring compliance as per IS policies, standards, procedures and regulatory requirements

- Conduct IT & IS awareness and training programs for the employees as part of their induction and regular awareness

- Provide leadership in technology portfolio for enablement and innovation

- Assist with special projects and other tasks, as required

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree, preferably in IT/ Computer Science/ Information Systems/ related field

- 10-12 years of experience working in IT operations, part of technology teams and overseeing information technology projects, preferably in an NBFC/ Bank or other Financial Sector Company

- Excellent understanding of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, telecommunications systems and Software solutions

- Excellent leadership and decision-making skills

- Strong analytical skills and logical reasoning

- Sound knowledge of project management principles

- Excellent knowledge of leveraging latest technologies

- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with teams across the entire organization

- Strong troubleshooting and creative problem-solving abilities, including being able to interpret, understand and troubleshoot internally developed systems

- Ability to manage multiple 3rd parties at the same time in effective critical problem management

- Knowledge of design principles and fundamentals of architecture
