Manager - Information Technology - Bank

We are looking for IT professionals at a senior level with a Foreign Bank.

Location : Mumbai

Preferred Industry / Domain experience : Banking industry only.

Work Experience : Minimum 15+ years

Purpose :

- To assist businesses in translating their business requirements into cost beneficial, automated and effective solutions. Manage and monitor IT projects with the objective of assisting business in achieving their objectives within the limits of timelines, quality, budget and SBM guidelines.

- To ensure that applications across the bank operate with minimal downtime/ issues/ user problems with the objective of ensuring that the operations of the bank continue smoothly within the limits of the bank's or group's IT policies.

- To manage the overall network and IT infrastructure (Hardware & System Software) for the bank with the objective of achieving smooth running of IT systems and business operations within the limits of IT processes and guidelines.

Required skills & knowledge :

- Project management, business analysis, design, implementations, customizations, solutioning, UAT testing and managing related production issues.

- Establish and mange strong internal relationships with key stakeholders.

- Maneuver key business projects, link it with technology enablers and deliver it to business

- Knowledge of different streams of banking, trends in banking and allied fields/ channels.

- Vendor Management, Leadership and Managerial capabilities.

- Knowledge of banking business processes & IT operations functions

- Knowledge of different streams of banking, trends in banking and allied fields/ channels.

- Knowledge of data center Management & Security implications.

Basic Responsibilities :

- Incident Management/ Issue Management/ CR Management. Ensure problem resolution / support to business as per Service Level Agreements (SLA's)

- Project Management - Review User Request/ Preliminary Research on Products, Solutions/ Requirement Gathering. Development of Project Charter,

- Design and Execution/ Testing/ Implementation of Proposed Solution

- Delivery of IT Strategy as per the action plan - Support the development / implementation of program, development of project / system, upgrades, automation and migration as per schedule

- Continuous Process Improvement/ Policy Formulation and Implementation/ Ensure that all systems/ software/ hardware, applications etc. are giving optimum results and kept up in an updated manner and propose to the management any enhancements/improvements etc. for automation of workflow and reducing the cost

- Internal/ External Audit Preparedness. Ensure compliance to IT related Internal and regulatory guidelines. Also support business to comply with Regulatory and Internal Guidelines.

- Develop and maintain and implement IT policies as per the requirements of the local regulations and as per the group's regulations. Develop and maintain updated BCM policies and procedures and establish SLAs with Business Units.

- Conduct a Business Continuity exercises as per policy for all critical applications available in DR.
