Manager - Indirect Taxation - Pharma/FMCG/Manufacturing

Office Timing - 1pm to 9pm.

1. Review the VAT liability independently after due verification of our books & finalize the same & ensure deposit on or before due date.

2. Ensure all tax reporting and compliance within time. Updating / maintaining all spreadsheets and tax calendars for all filing deadlines, jurisdictions.

3. Ability to advise and provide guidance to various business functions on VAT rules.

4. Coordinate with local consultants on VAT Authority Queries, Inquiry, Investigations, and Audits.

5. Ensure Internal Control Check established across process which is impacting Tax compliance.

6. Support Internal & External Audit requirements.

7. To focus on areas which result in strengthening the systems and process.

8. Should have sound knowledge of Accounting process for VAT.

9. Research technical issues and present finding effectively.

- CA / CPA, LLB will be added advantage.

- At least 5 years 8 years of professional experience in managing indirect taxes.

- Should have experience on indirect taxes of Europe and few countries other than India.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP and thorough knowledge on tax applications (One Source etc.).

- Ability to communicate at all levels (internally & externally).

- Ability to interpret case laws and other reference material, Monitors and upholds the high quality of services and products, advise on tax issues, Ability to be proactive, identify opportunity and take early responsibility, Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills.
