Manager - Indirect Taxation - Internet/Online

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement effective indirect tax strategies and policies to ensure compliance with GST regulations and optimize tax planning.

- Monitor and interpret changes in GST laws, regulations, and guidelines and assess their impact on the organization's tax obligations.

- Conduct periodic audits and reviews to ensure proper implementation of GST procedures and identify areas for improvement.

- Provide guidance and support to internal teams on GST-related matters, including tax implications of business transactions, contracts, and pricing strategies.

- Prepare and file GST returns, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of submissions to regulatory authorities.

- Collaborate with external tax consultants and advisors to seek expert opinions on complex GST matters and develop robust tax strategies.

- Assist in GST-related dispute resolution, including responding to tax notices, representing the organization during tax audits, and managing appeals, if required.

- Conduct internal trainings and workshops to enhance GST awareness and knowledge among relevant stakeholders.

- Maintain and update tax records, documentation, and systems to ensure compliance with record-keeping requirements.

- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging GST-related issues to provide proactive advice and recommendations
