Position : Manager Indirect Taxation  Company : LEADING FMCD/CG BRAND   Qualification : CA/ ICWA/CS/LLB-Tax  Roles & Responsiblities :   Handling of Pan India Indirect Tax matters :  - Service Tax   - Central Excise   - VAT & Sales Tax   - Customs   - Ensuring all statutory compliances on time with accuracy of data related to (VAT / Sales Tax / Central Excise/ Service Tax/ Customs)  - Tax planning -Benefits of Notifications, FTAs, Classification, Valuation, Exports & Imports  - Advising on strategic decision making with current and future tax scenarios  - Dealing with consultants and tax authorities for assessments and dispute resolutions  - Coordinating with other business team members for any new process or initiative taken and ensuring integration with correct tax mechanism  Desired Skills :   - Well conversant with Central Excise, Service Tax, Cenvat Rules & Customs Act & Rules, Audit   - Vat - Pan India,   Skilled in Classification, Valuation, St. Payments, Returns & Assessments, Yearly Returns & Yearly Vat Audit Reports, Statutory Forms, Statutory Excise & Service Tax Audits, Inspections, Special Verifications etc., Refunds, Import & Export Procedures, Bonds, Permissions, DBK, EOU . Updation on day to day Changes in Act/ Rules - ( Excise, Customs, Service Tax, Vat )  Liasioning Govt. Deptts. At all levels related to :   - Customs at Ports   - Excise, Service Tax   - Customs consultants & VAT Consultants at all Branch Locations, to file replies to SCNs, Audits, Filing Appeals & Write Petitions,   - Preparation of case files, appearance before adjudicating authorities at all levels and well versed with litigation procedures and having substantial exposure .   - Responsible for maintenance of Statutory Records, Record Retention   - Pan India Litigation on Excise, Service Tax & Customs & Vat  - Extraction of data, Reports from SAP   - MIS  - Support & advice to all Functions on Indirect Tax matters  - Knowledge of Indirect Tax Laws, Rules & Regulations study & analysis of changes & implementation thereof as per business needs .  - Statutory Compliances & Payments of duties & taxes as per law and timelines..  - Good communication skills  Way Forward :   - Support in GST implementation  - Litigation  - Working on SAP /ERP  Nitin 8800160303
