We have an opening with one of our client for the position of : Manager - Indirect Taxation

Job Location: Mumbai

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Manage Indirect tax compliances, Handle Correspondence with Tax Departments, attend to tax litigations.

- Has earlier managed indirect taxation functions for a bigger sized company

- Has thorough knowledge of Service Tax, Central Excise Law & Procedures and Octroi/LBT and basic understanding of Customs Law.

- Maintain cordial relations with Government Departments, Tax Officials, Auditors, Customs Officers, local tax authorities, etc

- Prepare responses to tax notices received from various taxing jurisdictions

- Manage internal/external audits effectively

- Identify and implement process improvements for increased efficiencies and accuracy

Requirement :

Education : Graduation + Diploma in Taxation, LLB

Experience :

Experience: 7+ years of experience in Indirect Tax (More into Service Tax)

CTC : As per standard
