Manager - Indirect Taxation - CA

Job Description

- Person will work closely with Head of Finance and CFO, will bring sustainability of tax position.

- Management of Company's tax liabilities in an optimal and compliant manner. The role would focus on tax compliance, tax reporting and tax planning specifically from an India perspective

- Lead Tax module in ERP implementation whether on accounting, AP or AR module, including building in appropriate checks and balances

- Company has has multiple legal entities. It is governed by various direct and indirect tax laws. The job has to make sure that the Company is compliant with various tax legislation and is also able to plan its taxes efficiently

- Handle Direct and indirect tax .Will be coordinating with tax auditor, preparation & filing of Income-tax return, and filing of GST and TDS Returns.

Requirements:

- Only Chartered Accountants required

- This role would require previous experience in Indirect Taxation, including GST implementation in a complex organization.

- A mix of Tax advisory and industry experience will be an added advantage.

- An excellent understanding of India's tax system, both direct and indirect, especially GST A hands on, action oriented approach to problem solving approach with bias for action and execution

- Interpersonal skills; a team players with strong leadership and project management capabilities.

- Ability to function independently, prioritize on a real-time basis and manage multiple stakeholder.

- Role will require dealing with multiple internal and external stakeholders, including customers, authorities, tax consultants, etc

- Strong verbal and written communication.
