Manager - Indirect Tax - CA/ICWA - Manufacturing

For one of our client, a Leading Manufacturing MNC, we are seeking an Indirect Tax Manager

Position : Indirect Tax Manager

Experience : 8+ yrs

Location : Gujarat

Responsibilities:

- To Prepare tax planning sheet with respect to Sales and its duty liability both Service tax and Excise

- To provide guidelines, trainings on Export, import, Domestic Sales documentations, Invoicing etc.

- To ensure issuance of Procurement Certificates and CT-3 in time for duty free procurement of raw materials, timely Submission of Proof Of Export ( Annexure -19)

- To settle Refund / Rebate of input Tax credits (RM and ST, CST and ISD) claims.

- To resolve various matters of excise, VAT, & Service Tax related hearings and seek legal opinion on the same.

- To ensure monthly, yearly permits /licensing for Job work, Scrap, Imports, Exports, fixation of SION, & various material movement. from BSR to production etc. from various Govt. agencies,.

- To ensure updates of registers, records, returns, Job work, IUT, B-17 bonds etc. as per the legal compliance,

- To ensure timely submission of Monthly / Quarterly / Half yearly and annual returns of Excise/ VAT / KASEZ /GPCB and other relevant Govt. agencies.

- To undergo CERA/CRA / EA 2000 / VAT / CST audits and assessments conducted by VAT and other Tax authorities

- Warehousing

Desired Skills and Experience

- ICWA/CA

- Minimum of 4 years of experience in dealing with relevant government departments

- Min. of 8 years of experience with thorough knowledge of VAT/ Excise /ST/CST/EOU rules and its effective implementation.
