Scope of work:
The ideal HR Managerwe are looking for will :
- Have a strategic outlook towards talent acquisition, people development, career pathways and its alignment with the organization.
- Have knowledge about applicable laws and procedures
- Have to respond effectively to sensitive enquiries/ complaints, and present the issues to the management
- Have the ability to deal with ambiguity
- Be passionate to work for people's development
- Be at ease deploying and using new technologies for various HR processes
- Support the Program team and Organization Leadership in performing their people manager role
Specific Responsibilities:
Culture Building and Strategic HRM:
- Develop strategies to enable the people managers to work towards building and sustaining an outcome focused caring culture and self-managed working teams.
- Lead on developing and implementing HR strategies
Talent Acquisition:
- Design, develop and implement recruitment strategies, including process flow and procedures
- Assess people required for successful implementation of the strategic Plan
- Ensure compliance to and quality of the recruitment process
- Liaison with external partners to bring in the right resources
Performance Management, Training and Development:
- Develop and implement performance management initiatives, and ensure the quality of the process is maintained
- Develop and Coordinate training and development initiatives
- Employee Retention Plans
- Develop and implement initiatives that support employee retention
- Monitor and ensure quality of processes
- Separation and Continuing Relationship Plans
- Lead in developing and implementing procedures for respectful separation
- Develop process and coordinate maintenance of relationship with alumni
