Role Purpose:
Responsible for overseeing the planning, development and execution of HR and Admin initiatives
Key roles and responsibilities:
Human Resources:
- Ensure implementation of HR strategy across the organization
- Drive the implementation of HR policies & processes across the organization
- Responsible for communication of the HR policies and processes to the employees
- Periodically , review the HR policies & processes to keep it current
- Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance to HR policies and processes
- Continuously interact with all Head of Departments to understand their needs, communicate with them on employee issues and work jointly in achieving HR objectives
- Responsible for end-to-end employee life cycle spanning from recruitment to separation
- Implement best practices for delivering higher engagement levels across teams, including employee relations and employee communication initiatives
- Responsible for providing right manpower at right time
- Ensure right talent is available through continuous upgradation of skills and competencies of the workforce
- Responsible for Talent development in the Organisation for current and future needs
- Review and analyse metrics received on various factors like employee engagement, attrition, headcounts, vendor costs, etc. and accordingly develop plans to address them
- Periodically review the compensation and benefits and be in line with the market practices
- Devise plans to maximize retention and employee productivity while minimizing employee cost
- Address the employee grievances as per the defined policy and process and take initiative to minimise recurring grievances
- Responsible for maintaining the discipline of the Organisation through defined process
- Ensure periodic dialogue and communication at all levels of employees
- Ensure payroll is processed on time
- Ensure maintenance of healthy and safe working environment across organization
- Ensure compliance to safety norms, rules and regulations
- Responsible for Recognition and Rewards programme of the Company
- Liaise with government agencies and other external environment to maintain a healthy relationship
- Responsible for periodic Employee Satisfaction Surveys and taking actions on the low scores
- Identify and undertake interventions like employee engagement surveys, 360 degree surveys, best practice benchmarking exercises etc. for enhancing organizational effectiveness in line with organization's objectives
- Responsible for smooth separation including analysis of exit interview results for taking actions / initiatives for retention of talent
- Review and analyse metrics received on various factors like employee engagement, attrition, headcounts, vendor costs, etc. and accordingly develop plans to address them
- Coordinate with Heads of functions for alignment of Business plan with the Talent strategy to achieve the overall goals of the Organisation
- Periodically meet the various segments of HR customers to understand their needs and incorporate it in the policies & processes wherever applicable
- Provide inputs to Senior Management to become the "Employer of choice"
- Work towards developing the talent pipeline for future
- Review people practices periodically for improvement
- Sustain /reduce employee cost through innovative practices
- Implement the performance management system
- Responsible for continuously improving the IR of the organisation
- Responsible for grievance resolution of the employees and vendors
- Periodically meet the local leaders where the plant is located to build relations
Administration: Responsible for smooth operations of Security , Canteen, Transportation and upkeep of facility.
- Build a portfolio of vendors; negotiate favourable supply and credit terms for the procurement of stationery, communication facilities and other consumables
- Responsible for the safeguard of company assets across the Organisation; ensure timely renewals of AMCs relating to administration
- Ensure a safe and hygienic work environment by timely maintenance and housekeeping of the premises
- Ensure availability of basic amenities like water, electricity and sewage
- Responsible for upkeep of Conference rooms /Training rooms and ensure all arrangements are made for meetings/trainings etc.
- Responsible for Pantry management of the office
- Responsible for Guest Management
Legal /Statutory:
- Responsible for compliance to all applicable labour laws including legal and statutory requirements like PF, ESI etc.
- Responsible for renewal of all licences etc
