Job Title: Manager - HR & Administration
Location: KALA AMB, HIMACHAL PRADESH
Job Description:
As the Manager of Human Resources and Administration, you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing the workforce for our manufacturing plant. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of HR and administrative functions to ensure the plant's efficient operation.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition:
- Oversee the recruitment and selection of skilled mechanical workers.
- Post job openings on relevant job portals, such as Apna, Work India, Naukri.com.
- Conduct salary negotiations with candidates, aligning with budget constraints.
Onboarding and Training:
- Facilitate induction training for newly hired employees, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
HR Operations:
- Manage all HR operations related to field staff.
- Handle and address staff grievances effectively.
- Handle ESI, PF and other Statutory compliances.
- Issue disciplinary action letters when necessary.
Payroll Management:
- Compile and send monthly salary inputs and attendance data to the payroll department to process field staff salaries.
- Address and resolve regional inquiries regarding salary, settlements, PF withdrawals, and transfers.
Exit Procedures:
- Manage exit formalities for departing employees and provide necessary clearances to the payroll department for final processing.
Benefits Administration:
- Prepare and manage monthly mediclaim data for new employees.
Site Visits:
- Conduct site visits to ensure a firsthand understanding of the work environment and employee needs.
HR Policy Development:
- Develop and implement HR policies tailored to the manufacturing plant's unique requirements.
Contract Staffing:
- Oversee and manage contract staffing as needed for specific projects or staffing requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
- Proven experience in HR and administration, particularly in a manufacturing or construction setting.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Office and HR software.
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
