Hiring for one of the growing Logistics Group based out of Zambia.
Role : Human Resources Manager
Duties/Responsibilities:
- To understand and execute the organizations human resource department.
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures/SOPs across the organization.
- Perform organizational management.
- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization.
- Develop, manage and set performance management system, to monitor the performance of staff.
- Set KPIs/KRAs/Balanced Scorecard. To be achieved on ERP system, for example as "SPINE".
- Strategic mapping.
- Create and oversea a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
- Present performance reports to managements
- Provides support and guidance to HR generalists, management, and other staff.
- Coordinate and set team building exercises.
- Creates learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
- Manages the talent acquisition process.
- Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Maintains compliance local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Training, counseling and coaching staff.
Performs other duties as assigned.

- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn and set systems and Procedures.
Education and Experience:
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- Experience in labor relations and employee relations.
- A minimum of five years of human resource management experience and at least three years in a management/supervisory role.
