We are hiring for the position of Manager - Human Resources for a well funded Ed-tech Startup in Bangalore. The position heads the human resources function. The position is also responsible for creating and managing placement function for the learners ( postgraduate/technology professionals).   Designation: Manager - HR - EdTech Startup  Location: Bangalore  Reporting to: CEO  Education: PGDM / MBA from XLRI /TISS and Top 5 IIM's only   Work Experience: 1+ year of relevant experience as HR Generalist   Primary Responsibility:   Responsible for Talent Acquisition, Human Resources and Placement Manager (70% HR and 30% Placement Management).   HRBP  - Create and own the Annual HR business Plan  - Develop and implement plan to create a strong employer brand internally and externally  - Talent acquisition including management of talent acquisition partners   - Partner business heads to implement HR strategies.   - Operationalise the plan for creating and maintaining performance-oriented culture   - Drive employee engagement initiatives especially in the sales organization   - Behavioural Training and Development   - Manage the performance management and appraisal process   Placement Manager  - Engage identified learner segments to assess their career aspirations  - Create and operationalize plan to improve career opportunities for the learners   - Engage potential employers and strategic partners to create career opportunities for the learners  - Counsel students to help them make informed career choices   - Set up internal systems and processes for the placements   Education & Experience:  - Post Graduate in Human Resource Management from XLRI / TISS and Top 5 IIM's with 1- 2 years- experience  - Startup experience is must  Desired Skills and Experience:  - Independent, forward-thinking and go-getter  - Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills  - Exceptional analytical and presentation skills  - Technology savvy  - Quick learner, Flexibility, ability to multitask   - Open mindset to take-up additional responsibilities in the interest of the organization and team
