JOB DESCRIPTION: Drive operational effectiveness in areas of Statutory Compliance, HR Data Management, Talent Acquisition, and payroll management. The person will act as a Business Partner to all functions to deliver and implement human resources strategies, initiatives, processes within the framework of the company values, vision, and business objectives. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Payroll - Stay updated with the Government Policies w.r.t Payroll and Statutory Compliances - Run error free monthly payroll and ensure timely Full &amp; Final settlements - Tracks key metrics on shift deployment, schedule adherence, extra working, late entry etc. to institutionalize culture of discipline across organizations. - Ability to identify risk areas and suggest risk mitigation steps. - Hands-on experience to HRMS system IR &amp; Statutory Compliances - Manage Factories Act and statutory compliances - To ensure Grievance handling procedures &amp; Domestic enquiries are being conducted in the right earnest. - To ensure that all the statutory requirements as per the labour laws/rules (Factories Act, ID Act, PF, Bonus etc.) applicable to the unit (specific rules as may be applicable in the states) are met &amp; within the timeframes set. - Creating, implementing, and administering human resources policies and ensuring that practices are compliant with statutory requirements and guidelines - Manage key stakeholders in the industrial relations space (MPs/MLAs/Local Leaders / Unions in the vicinity) - Ensure Contractor Compliance is in place - Manage Internal and External Audits Performance Management - Implementation of Performance Management System. This would involve driving the goal setting and review processes for the managers; facilitating midyear and annual reviews; coordinating the One-on-ones. - Succession planning in consultation with the departmental head Manpower Planning - To interact with the Departmental Heads on a regular basis to partner for Manpower requirement - End-End Recruitment process - Use different recruitment channels for effective cost management - Forecasting and managing budgets for the department including manpower and administrative costs, and support services. MIS Reporting - Maintaining Organization Charts - Maintain HR data, Insurance data and generate reports as required - Proficient in MS Office Skills (Excel, Presentation and Document) - Managing document control system for all relevant policies and practices KEY SHARED ACCOUNTABILITIES: - Customers: Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels with different vendors and consultants. - Business Team: Work Closely with business team to understand the needs and deliver by maintaining harmonious relationship.
