How prospective applicants, employees perceive Milaap is critical to instilling our culture internally and communicating it externally as part of our recruiting strategy.   - Create JDs with the help of team heads and manage relationships and candidate flow with outside recruiting agencies  - Make it your priority to ensure EVERY candidate has a seamless and positive experience while interviewing at Milaap  - Ensure that Team Heads and interviewers arrive on time for interviews and have all of the necessary information prior to meetings  - Collate feedback on the candidates to help team heads make the final decision.   - Create an orientation kit, employee handbook for all current and prospective employees  - Organize and assist with the onboarding and orientation of all new hires  - Actively engage in new recruiting strategies, building a pipeline of talent to address the wide variety of internal needs regarding skills and experience  Fellowship Program -   - The Fellows program currently on-boards 8-10 fellows every semester. Fellows commit to serve full-time for 6 months each at one of our partner organisations across India and serve as eyes and ears of on-the-ground. You will serve as the lead marketer of the program with the goal of bringing in top quality candidates and sharing the successes of the program and the public alike   - Responsible for recruiting, interviewing, training, and supporting 18 -20 Fellows across two batches annually through all stages of their fellowship  - Work closely with Partner Tools Manager/ Associate to develop and implement a comprehensive monitoring and evaluation system for fellows to track progress on program goals  - Book candidate travel, accommodations and other logistics to their placement organisations   Employee Engagement -   Plan the quarterly All Hands Meeting and proactively collate feedback and discussion items from management and staff for the meeting  Plan and implement fun engagement activities - weekly team lunches, monthly company outings, yearly off-sites etc   Talent Development -   - Working with the co-founders and team heads to develop long term career development plans for talented staff  - Coordinate and facilitate in quarterly reviews/appraisals and goal settings of all team members with their respective team heads and summarize the discussion for the employee and management's benefit.   - Actively engage with employees to ensure they are focused on the goals for each quarter, both from a personal development front as well as shared team goals.   - Proactively finding roles within the organisation for talented individuals  Day- to- Day Operations   - Manage employment life cycle and HR issues such as HR processes and tools, employee relations, leaves & work from home, compensation and benefits, facilities and health and safety  - Manage exit formalities; exit interviews, full & final settlement, documentation, etc  - Work closely with finance team to process monthly payroll   - Handle employee requests regarding human resources letters, policies and practices  - Proactively drive a positive working environment
