Our Client is a global, mobile payments company headquartered in San Francisco. The company provides a mobile payments platform, enabling consumers to pay using their mobile phone, with purchases billed to a consumer's mobile phone bill. It was launched- in 2009 with the acquisition of Paymo, Mobile view /Italia, Mopay AG, Qubecell, Mobillcash businesses - all providers in the mobile payments industry, as well as $13 million USD in investment from venture capital - firms-DAG Ventures, Khosla Ventures, NEA, Index Ventures, etc.- They are connected to merchants to merchants such as Google, Microsoft, Facebook, EA, Sony, Spotify, Lookout and Riot Games. It has established partnerships with hundreds of game publishers and online services.

Position Title: HR Manager

Location: - Andheri, Mumbai

Qualifications: Degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business or a related field preferred.

Experience Required: 3+ Years

The HR Manager plays a key role in the people efforts, is a champion of the company's culture and core values, and a valuable partner to our leaders to grow the business. You will help us build and deliver people strategies, infrastructure, processes, and policies. This individual will roll up their sleeves and dive into daily HR operations.


Individuals who thrive at our client embody the company's core values: Collaboration, Be Flexible, Assume Positive Intent, and Be Ambitious. This is a full-time job role located in our Mumbai office supporting our teams in locations including India, Singapore, Beijing, Tokyo, Malaysia, and Taiwan.

Responsibilities:

- Serve as a trusted business partner. Drive the People strategy and solutions in order to achieve strategic business initiatives and deliver results.

- Review and analyse HR metrics, business trends, and industry knowledge to inform the planning and delivery of people strategies and solutions that align to business objectives.

- Oversee key people processes and HR transactions such as hiring, on boarding, exits, performance management, compensation and bonus administration, immigration matters and efforts related to the employee experience.

- Work with managers and employees to address and resolve employee relations issues and concerns, including taking corrective action and conducting internal investigations as needed.

- Provide recommendations in employee engagement and best places to work efforts to promote a positive and consistent employee experience.

- Collaborate with the HR Team and Management on implementation of programs and initiatives, including employee engagement, total rewards, performance management, diversity and inclusion, and company-wide initiatives.

- Maintain working knowledge of local employment laws to reduce risk and ensure compliance.

- Lead by example to identify opportunities and work to improve processes, apply innovation, and serve as a leader or subject matter expert on company-wide projects focused on process or program improvement.

Key Skills:

- Experience in HR Management or related experience in a complex organization required and/or graduate level coursework in HR or business preferred.

- Experience with talent management, total rewards, employee relations, researching and applying local employment laws, training and HR systems.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills including ability to present with ease to large/small groups.

- Outstanding customer service (internal and external); ability to interact with people at all levels.

- Excellent organization and project management skills with ability to direct, manage, and review the work of others.

- Demonstrated initiative and leadership skills.

- Able to handle confidential material and sensitive situations in a reliable.
