Profile:
Purpose of the role :
The position is functionally accountable for:-
1. Training & Development
- Identifying, developing and managing training programs as per OD strategy and TNA
2. Performance Management
- Designing, implementing and coordinating the appraisal exercise across PVMI.
- Coordinating the process of moderations, performance management and career progression thereof.
- Aligning performance and compensation programs.
3. Talent management
- Lead and drive all talent management and OD initiatives in the organisation
- Lead activities such as defining competencies, assessing them, identifying high potential employees.
4. Communication
1. Training & Development
- Collate TNA as per listed process on an annual basis using performance appraisal data in conjunction with focus group interventions and any competency assessment data and function head data
- Make the training calendar in coordination with the functional heads for Band 3 & above employees
- Identify facilitators and training partners as per training calendar and initiate initial brief and discussion
- Contribute to the Design general skills module for Band 3 and above
- Facilitate the induction and general skills modules up to the associate level
- Finalize a list of facilitators and training partners in conjunction with concerned function heads and manager capability building
- Present the facilitators / training partners will program outlines and coordinate to ensure that the design is as expected
- Coordinate the training schedule, participations and logistics
- Take feedback on each training and collate data for use to assess effectiveness
- Coordinate management training program as per schedule
2. Performance and capability Management
- Design and Implement competency frameworks and assessment parameters.
- Lead competency based initiatives ( assessment centres, training etc )
- Review and propose a competitive, objective appraisal process and system
- Align performance management system to global norms
- Provide training on the appraisal process and appraisal roles
- Initiate and conduct the appraisal cycle as per schedule
- Anchor and ensure quality objective setting process, mid-year and final year appraisal process for the organization
- Ensure proper objective setting across the organisation
- Process appraisal data to identify employees in each performance category
- Calculate increments and bonuses as per policy & budget and propose payouts
- Review the trends emerging from the performance review ratings
3. OD initiatives
- Own the organisation design & capability initiatives.
- Lead the engagement survey and ensure communication and action plan execution
- Roll out initiatives like career development and succession planning across the organisation
4. Budgeting
- Participate in the making of own training budget
5. Communication
- lead the communication agenda for the business
6. MIS & Reporting
- Implement and review the MIS /Reporting from training and talent metrices
- Analyse interview results and suggest corrective measures to retain employees
