Looking for the role of HR Manager-APAC for one of our clients setting up their development center in Chennai.

- The role involves managing end to end HR activities for the center from scratch and as the organization grows up.

- This is highly visible role as the entire top leadership of the company is involved in hiring for this role. Typical roles and responsibilities are

Induction & On-Boarding :

- End to End responsibility of On-Boarding formalities for the selected candidates.

- Carrying out the Employee Induction Session on various HR Policies, Procedures, Practices and Guidelines

- Handling of New Joiner's Verification drive to their different corporate HR Heads and managing all related documentation.

Salary & payroll functions: (compensation & benefits) :

- Compensation & Benefits structure benchmarking for various bands as per the prevailing trends in the job market.

- Payroll Processing.

- Execute Group Medical Insurance & other HR Benefits.

- Effectively manage variable, allowances & other incentive payouts calculations for entire team.

- Leave Accounting & Management.

- Responsible for PF, ESI, SALARY SLIP and other related responsibilities.

- Process owner Full & Final Settlement.

Training and Development :

- Identifying Training Needs of employees through a survey.

- Preparation of Training Calendar.

- Ensuring timely training programs for all employees at all branches

- Maintaining Monthly Training Schedule.

- Maintaining Training's Feedback Report.

Performance Management :

- Initiating Performance Appraisal Process of employees along with their reporting manager

- Handling confirmations reviews and taking care of training analysis for those unable to clear the confirmation.

- Facilitating and giving feedback's.

- End to end process maintenance.

- Ensuring timely completion of PMS.

- Generating Performance Appraisal Letters - With / Without Increment.

- Updating personal file of employees with respective appraisal.

Employee Relation/Retention Initiatives :

- ER Activities like Conducting Knowledge Sharing Session on various Key Subject Matter, Employee Counseling, Sending Appreciation mail to key achievers for receiving client appreciation, Creating Positive Work Environment by defining HR Policies, Guiding the Employees to Balance Work Life Cycle.

- By having One to One feedback session with the employee & addressing the issues and grievances to the concerned heads, to get an effective & early solution.

- Skip Level Meeting with Managers and TLs to discuss and highlight grievances and make recommendations.
