The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing various HR functions including payroll activities, employee engagement initiatives, performance management, and day-to-day HR operations within our manufacturing unit in Dubai. Key Responsibilities: Payroll Management: - Handle end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations. - Coordinate with finance and HR teams to address payroll discrepancies and resolve employee inquiries promptly. Employee Engagement: - Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and promote a positive work culture. - Organize employee events, recognition programs, and initiatives to foster a cohesive team environment. Performance Management: - Implement performance management systems to effectively evaluate employee performance and provide constructive feedback. - Collaborate with department heads to establish performance goals and objectives aligned with organizational objectives. HR Operations: - Oversee day-to-day HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes. - Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations. Training and Development: - Identify training needs and coordinate training programs to enhance employee skills and competencies. - Facilitate workshops and seminars on HR-related topics to promote continuous learning and development. Compliance and Policies: - Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. - Stay updated on changes in labor laws and industry regulations affecting HR practices in the jewellery manufacturing sector. Qualifications and Experience: - Degree in Human Resources Management or a related field. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR operations, preferably within the jewellery manufacturing industry. - Proven experience in payroll management, employee engagement, and performance management. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. - HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR) is a plus. Additional Requirements: - Must have prior experience specifically in the gold jewellery manufacturing sector. - Candidates outside the jewellery industry need not apply. - Willingness to commit to a 2-year contract in Dubai, UAE.
