Purpose of the role

- Responsible for conducting day-to-day HR operations effectively to provide proactive HR support to employees. Ensure integrity and accuracy of HR data while being compliant with data protection and security standards. Facilitate development of the overall HR strategy and approach by providing accurate and relevant data analytics and reporting.

Accountabilities, responsibilities and main duties

- Assist in communicating company policies and procedures to promote an understanding amongst the staff members and foster a working environment which is conducive through effective employee relations activities.

- Act as a resource regarding HR policies, procedures and advise line managers and staff members all staff related matters such as discipline, capability, grievance, absence control, redundancy, appraisal, harassment etc.

- Conduct periodic audits of current systems, procedures, policies, and workflows to ensure efficiencies and legal compliance; develop processes that improve department and end user efficiency.

- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to HR. Keep up to date with legal developments and advice management on compliance and risk factors. Work to proactively reduce legal risks and ensure regulatory compliance.

- Ensure adherence to applicable statutory laws and regulations, maintenance of records and closure of notices and inspections from the statutory authorities as per need.

- Maintain a Human Resource Management System (HRMS) to provide accurate and timely information related to staff at all times.

- Collaborate with the external partner/ service provider to ensure effective and efficient functionality and user experience, including the resolution of any technical issues.

- Prepare and provide analytics and analyses on key Human Resource metrics to management and relevant stakeholders.

- Ensure accurate documentation of HR Operations standard operating procedures is maintained including timely revisions and updates.

- Formulate, implement and improve functional and company policies and procedures to ensure operational excellence and positive staff experience. Monitor adherence to rules, regulations and procedures.

- Co-ordinate the administration of medical scheme for all staff pan India.

- Assist in the planning and implementation of key organisational/HR initiatives. Collaborate with specialist HR team members and business teams to execute programs in a timely and effective manner.

- Responsible for ensuring effective on-boarding, joining and induction for new joiners.

- Drive the process of confirmation and or probation extension.

- Ensure a positive staff member experience through the exit process including timely full and final settlement processing as per defined policy and procedure

Qualifications and Experience

- MBA in Human Resources

- Minimum 10 years of experience in HR Operations/ HR Shared services model with a clear understanding of HR processes and local statutory compliances.

- HR Experience in handling payroll processing and statutory compliances for India in a small to mid-sized company independently

- Prior experience in people and team management .
