Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Indian labor laws, regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Stay abreast of changes in Indian employment laws and regulations and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders, ensuring timely compliance.
- Oversee the drafting and review of employment contracts, agreements, and other HR-related documents, ensuring compliance with Indian laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Master's/ Bachelor's degree in HR/Labour Law, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; additional qualifications such as LLB or LLM preferred.
- Minimum of 8 yrs years of experience in HR legal and compliance roles in India, preferably in a multinational or large Indian organization.
- In-depth knowledge of Indian labor laws, regulations, and statutory requirements, with a track record of ensuring compliance in HR practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to interpret and apply complex legal requirements in the Indian context.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels within the organization.
- Experience in handling legal issues related to employment, employee relations, and HR operations in India, including litigation management and dispute resolution.
- Candidate should have experience in managing bigger team / Outsourced Vendor.
- Should have experience in vendor performance reviews and bring in efficiency.
