Your responsibilities will include:
- Analyze business challenges and Human Resource programs to identify improvement opportunities an provides consulting and business partnering to leaders in achieving company objectives
- Responsible for coordinating and administering activities in several human resources verticals such as Industrial relations, employee relations, workforce planning, compensation, diversity, equity & inclusion and employee benefits and services
- Counsel Employees and team members concerning work-related problems
- Assists in the development and implementation of human resources policies and procedures and their dissemination through varied communication channels; partner with business leaders in developing business policies and practices
- Work under consultative direction toward predetermined long-range targets
- Prepare reports & analytics in conformance with legislated requirements or organization needs; Serve as lead point of contact for specialized projects or programmes.
- Engage and facilitate Long Term settlements with Union and sign settlement agreements as time bound programme keeping business and customers needs in mind
- Implement and promote compliance mind set among the employees to ensure no non- compliances for smooth functioning of the business
- Identify and facilitate training on employee development, coaching and other management and leadership topics
- Manage discipline and initiate corrective actions to ensure safe and healthy workplace
- Ensure good connect with the employees and maintain cordial industrial relations for smooth operation of plant
- Support and partner in efficiency and productivity improvement projects
- Manage labour and statutory authorities through regular connect to ensure all legal requirements are followed for smooth functioning of the business
- Managing conciliations and court matters effectively in the interest of the business
- Act as an agile change leader for developing and implementing new initiatives that support the talent needs of the business
- Bring in Motivational concepts on the table and implement aligning all the business stakeholders.
- Excellent convincing and influencing skills to accomplish the task without authority
Qualifications & Experience:
- MBA - HR Degree from Tier II B-School with atleast 10 to 12 years of experience in HR of which at least 5 years of experience as lead IR in a reputed Multinational company with manufacturing facility
- Prior experience of managing a workforce of 500+
- Demonstrated capability to work effectively within a complex matrix organizational structure
- High level of drive and agility to rally across multiple stakeholders and functions to drive alignment and action
- Demonstrate Values & Ethics with uncompromising integrity
- Strong Execution skills with process mapping capability
- Proficiency in English and Kannada - both verbal and written
