Manager/Head - Visual Merchandising - Retail

Your job role is to be responsible to increase the footfall of the store by attractively displaying products and merchandise, this is the key role of a Visual Merchandising Manager and is vital to the Retail side of any fashion business.

A Visual Merchandising Manager must possess a great deal of creativity and innovative talent. Visual Merchandising Managers are mostly required to work at fashion retail outlets and stores to lead a team of Visual Assistants and staff for smoothly carrying out all activities. The Visual Merchandising Manager also creates window and in-store displays in retail shops and department stores, taking responsibility for 'the look' of the store, with the aim of promoting fashion products in order to maximise sales.

The Visual Merchandising Manager will work very closely with the fashion retailers Head Office team and regularly liaise with the buying and merchandising teams. The Visual Merchandising Manager will also work closely with the fashion brands Creative Director to ensure the retail stores reflect the fashion brands key concept.

Must know: Illustrator, Photoshop, Corel Draw, Auto CAD etc.
