Manager/Head - Content Management - Leisure/Travel/Tourism

The Client :

An award-winning organization that designs story-based walking tours and experiences..

Born with the idea of sampling India through her stories. Of taking our guests to savor local sights and sounds, but through the eyes of a storyteller. Of going beyond the sights themselves, and uncovering characters and customs that made these places come alive.

Currently venturing into an app based "guide" mechanism to enable users plan their travel at their own pace, where ever they are, using location tracking system.

The Role :

They are looking for Head - Content Mgmt who ultimately owns the content that goes into the website and the app.

Indicative Deliverables (covering, but not limited to)

- Writing and Editing feature articles on trails/travel packages/historical places.

- Research and ideate packages based on the local art, culture and history of the locality

- Responsible for proof reading and quality check of articles submitted by industry experts, content contributors and guest authors.

- Handle the team of content writers and procure content as per content guidelines.

- Working closely with the editorial team in creating monthly content strategy.

- Promoting content on social media channels.

- An excellent grasp of the English language and a keen eye for detail.

The Person for the role :

- Ideal person would be someone who is strong in content writing and editing with a reputed newspaper / magazine / portal / website.

- Owns blogs / publishing.

- Person who understands business drivers and create and own clear and engaging content relevant to the business context.

Salary Range: 7 - 10 LPA
