Manager - Goods & Services Tax

GST Compliance and Filings:

- Ensure accurate and timely preparation and filing of GST returns, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and annual returns, in compliance with GST regulations.

- Monitor changes in GST laws and regulations and update internal processes and systems accordingly.

- Coordinate with internal teams to gather relevant data, reconcile GST records, and resolve any discrepancies or issues.

GST Audit and Assessments:

- Manage GST audits and assessments conducted by tax authorities, ensuring the timely submission of required documentation and information.

- Prepare and maintain necessary records, documentation, and supporting schedules for GST audits.

- Collaborate with internal teams and tax consultants to address audit findings, respond to queries, and resolve any issues.

GST Advisory and Compliance:

- Provide guidance and interpretation on GST laws, regulations, and compliance requirements to internal stakeholders.

- Assess the impact of GST changes on business operations and recommend appropriate actions to ensure compliance.

- Develop and implement GST compliance policies and procedures, ensuring consistent adherence across the organization.

GST Record Keeping and Documentation:

- Establish and maintain a comprehensive system for GST records and documentation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with record-keeping requirements.

- Monitor and manage GST-related documentation, including invoices, tax invoices, input tax credits, and other relevant documents.

GST Process Improvement:

- Identify opportunities to streamline and optimize GST processes, procedures, and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as finance, IT, and operations, to implement process improvements and automation initiatives.

- Stay updated on GST-related technology solutions and tools, recommending and implementing appropriate systems for GST compliance and reporting.

Training and Communication:

- Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate and update internal stakeholders on GST regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices.

- Communicate changes in GST laws and regulations to relevant teams, ensuring awareness and adherence to new requirements.
