Job Description :   Role Description :   - The primary mandate of the Messaging Specialist would be to lead buying and selling of SMS routes with Mobile Messaging Exchange suppliers and customers respectively leading to revenue and margin maximization of business.  - This is a cross-functional role supporting the sales teams across segments (GCS, GVS, NextGen and GES) and across regions and working closely with Messaging Market Management team.  Key Responsibilities :   - The role will encompass securing commercially viable SMS agreements/deals with Messaging Suppliers (MNOs and other wholesale market players like A2P SMS aggregators), working closely with GCS/GVS Account Manager, to build inventory of routes to fulfil A2P SMS market demand  - Primary post-agreement point of contact for Suppliers for periodic and need-basis negotiation on rates for A2P SMS delivery to various destinations for different routing classes.  - Work closely with and provide necessary support to Messaging Market Management by providing details of rates/route offerings available via different Suppliers  - Lead traffic farming activities working closely with Messaging Market Management and respective Account Managers to maximize TCL share of traffic and revenue with A2P Messaging customers.  - Discover wholesale traffic arbitrage positions within the operating region based on rates/routes available from various Suppliers  Requirements :   - You have a university degree preferably in business, marketing and/or engineering  - At least 4 years of experience in the international wholesale Voice, candidate with A2P SMS experience will have distinct advantage.  - Have proven sales, negotiation & communication skills;  - Result oriented with a strong analytical mind  Key must haves :   - We need the candidates to have SMS trading experience (buying & selling).
