A Renowned Petrochemicals Manufacturing and Distribution company in UAE looking for an experienced Supply Chain and Sourcing Manager who has experience in Purchasing Chemicals, Raw Materials, Commodity Chemicals and Services with an expertise in Commercial and Negotiation Skills.

Must have detailed and deep knowledge of IMCO terms and global logistics mechanism.

- JOB Position: Global Sourcing Manager/Procurement Manager

- JOB Location: Dubai

- Industry: Petrochemical (Manufacturing and Distribution)

- Experience Required: Minimum 8 years in Sourcing Petrochemicals, Solvents, Base Oils, Surfactants, Dry Chemicals and Oleochemicals

- Preferably Candidate should have worked in his previous role as a Sourcing Assistant or Manager in Raw Material Management in an Industrial Facility.

The Candidate should be well versed with the Petrochemicals product families and their applications. Should have exposure to Various Global pricing platforms like ICIS and Platts and their relevance to Feedstocks Pricing.

Must have knowledge of Major producers of Chemicals, Base Oils and Dry Chemicals globally and knowledge of Trade Lanes.

- Salary Offered: Starting AED 7000

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Handling Petrochemicals and Base Oils, Feedstocks for Groups Manufacturing Plants by careful planning and strategic sourcing including floating RFQs, Regular Follow ups for product allocations, Packaging, Sea Shipment Freight Sourcing( Both Containers and Break Bulk), vendor selection, commercials documentation due diligence & Negotiation of Pricing and Payment Terms.

- Overall responsibility of feedstock operations: forecasting, planning and coordination of feedstock supply chain activities.

- Developing and Coordinating with Internal Import Handling Team for clearing of the goods from port, listing legal documents, Permits, Shipping documents checklist and compliance, warehouse and storage teams.

- Establish strong and professional rapport with suppliers & shipping agents.

- Development and Coordination with Trade Finance and Payables team forecasting Financial obligations to suppliers and vendors.

- Visit the suppliers for understanding the quality and specification of materials

- Ensure the material delivery on time as required for the production

- Prepares and Review of contracts, bids, proposals and vendor agreements for legal correctness, price, and acceptability of items.

- Attending Global conferences & Exhibitions to establish new vendors and product lines.

- Coordinating for approvals & registration with the supplier & government authorities and manage the entire purchasing activities
