Manager - Global Purchase/Procurement - Polymers

Job Mission: Responsible for Supplier identification and Management for Polymers International Business. Handling Quality issues and make sure timely delivery is made to the customers.

Principal Responsibility:

- Responsible for procurement of assigned products from various identified suppliers.

- Responsible for Supplier Negotiations and Management, Negotiating with Suppliers and matching customers' expectations.

- Responsible for sharing Market Feedbacks with the suppliers.

- Customer Complaints - Following Up on Complaints and resolving them to customer satisfaction.

- Responsible for preparation of supplier visit reports, supplier database management & New Product identification and development.

- Team management, coaching & mentoring.

- Handling and managing quality related matters (Supplier issues anything related to shipment, delayed shipment, short shipment)

- Tracking deliveries and making sure that delivery time confirmed by the suppliers is as per purchase order raised and ensure appropriate items were delivered.

- Responsible for creating and maintaining purchasing files and pricelists.

- Apart from the above, responsible for handling any other task or work assigned by the Reporting Authority.

Educational Qualifications:

- Polymer/Chemical graduate, MBA/PG will be an added advantage.

Knowledge and Experience:

- 7 to 12 years in procurement & supplier management for polymer products and solutions.

- International market exposure.

- Global sourcing experience.
