Job Description :   The role is for a Manager to lead a team of analyst who support Global Commercial Banking (GCB) business in its pre- and post-sales activities. The team supports strategic and priority GCB opportunities, providing business intelligence profiles on targeted companies, industries or themes. Additionally, the team also supports management reporting activities that help focus on business priorities.  Responsibilities :   - The role is responsible for coaching and line managing a team of 20 analysts based in Hyderabad and Mumbai. He/she will drive best practices in supporting analytics and reporting and ensure the team produces high-quality, compelling deliverables for sales teams and onshore GCB leadership  - As a mentor/coach role, the incumbent is expected to work hands-on on some of the strategic and complex requests and pilot projects to ensure we deliver a market-leading document to the sales teams to make an effective pitch-In addition, the Manager will work in close collaboration with peers globally, the BACI team in India and partners in risk, migrations, HR and other support teams to ensure the function works efficiently and provides the right level of support.  - This role also forms part of the management team for the GCB group which focuses on business development and will assume overarching team goals that may include non-request work and supporting other group targets.  - The associate is also responsible for training other junior associates depending on the requirement  Requirements :   Education :   MBA Finance/CFA/Chartered Accountant  Experience Range : 12+ years of relevant experience with at least 4-5 years of supervisory experience  Mandatory skills :   - Proveno success managing a senior, high performing team in a player/coach role  - Expert knowledge of financial statements and industry indicators  - Knowledge of Economics and its real world application  - Strong technical writing and communications skills  - Ability to identify, define and drive operational best practices  - Strong commercial acumen, including the ability to set and track appropriate KPIs for the team  - Ability to operate in a fast-paced, deadline orientated environment  - Professional demeanor and ability to interact with clients, management and peers  - Advanced MS Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel)  - Proven management skills having led at least a major offshore sector or functional team for a leading Investment Bank  - Desire to grow and build his/her our team well integrated with a global Industry/Region groups  Desired skills :  - Analytical frame of mind  - A lateral thinker who can adapt to managing both individual work and ongoing team management responsibilities  - Understanding of banking products, including client solutioning and the market  - Comprehensive knowledge of global markets  - Experience working as part of a dynamic, global organization
