Description:

- The organisation was founded in 2015 with a vision to improve foundational learning among all children in government primary schools.

- The organisation work in partnership with 8 state governments (Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Bihar, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Assam and Odisha) with support from several CSRs and Foundations like Tata Trusts, HT Parekh, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and UNICEF. They have recently concluded an impact bond project in Haryana which has shown outstanding results.

Position Summary:

- The Fundraising manager will be responsible for developing, managing and sustaining a portfolio of donors in collaboration with the fundraising team of the organisation

- Among many responsibilities, the manager will identify new prospects, sustain ongoing relationships and secure grants for both operational and program support.

- The Manager fundraising and partnership will report to the Director - Fundraising & Partnership.

Specific Key Roles and Responsibilities:

- Research prospective donors and identify new partnership opportunities, with a particular focus on institutional donors and high-net worth individuals and cultivate relationships on behalf of the organization.

- Work closely with various team to develop high level grant applications, proposals and reports for diversified set of donors.

- Create and maintain an up-to-date grant calendar with application and report deadlines.

- Work closely with program teams to learn the intricacies of the projects, structure, and deepen the focus areas for financial support, become resourceful and contribute to the success of these initiatives.

- Coordinate donor meetings, develop and follow up on leads from fundraising head

- Represent the organisation at all appropriate forums

- Any other task mutually agreed on with Director Fundraising and Partnerships.
