Manager Fundraising and Fund Management
Responsibilities:
- Under minimal supervision performs complex assignments and fulfils broad responsibilities where required outcomes are defined.
- In a supervisory role, the individual usually works with a dynamic set of team members and handles work assignments, responsible for quality, motivation, training, problem-solving and nurturing growth.
- Independently handles one or more projects/workstream/ sub-functional areas from end to end.
- With a multi stakeholder background, translates key funder insights into team level learnings and efficiencies.
- Maintains ongoing relationships with key funders and deepening relationships with the ability to steer conversations towards action and decision making.
- Translating complex ideas into insights that create impactful narratives to mobilize funds towards key outcomes.
- Contributes to the team and organization-level management activities such as staffing, reporting, and internal task forces.
- Build and manage relationships with non-profits and knowledge partner
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in the Indian and/or international development sector with a focus on, consulting, funder management, fundraising, writing, knowledge management and stakeholder engagement.
- Very good written and communication skills, demonstrates strong narrative building and story-telling ability in written/verbal presentation style.
- Project Management and Research & Data Analytics
- Proactively identifies and pursues new funder leads and begins to shape opportunities for the Collaborative.
- Strong commitment and ability to develop a team and nurture talent to deliver excellent results
