Developing and maintaining Institutional partnerships : - Work with the Organizations Leadership Team to roll out the fund raising strategy, develop new relationships with and manage existing relationships with corporate, government, bilateral, multilateral agencies, foundations and Trusts. This includes : - Identify and prioritise institutional donors whom organization can proactively approach - Work with the relevant program units to identify suitable and strategic programmes or groups of projects to offer potential donors. - Directly developing funding proposals. - Manage all aspects of agreements including clarifying reporting requirement and timeframes, submission of payment requests - Coordinate with the relevant teams for developing and presentation of reports and periodical updates to donors. - Initiate and develop relationships with new institutional donors to secure long term funding for Organisation's programs - Develop and maintain the funding database Supporting the development of an individual donor base - Activate and maintain online donation and fundraising campaigns with the support of communications and program teams. - Support and roll-out fundraising events Communications - Design and drive implementation for the annual communications plan and budget, as well as brand building initiatives for the organization - Plan, develop, and support the dissemination of communication and marketing resources, ensuring that organization's vision, mission, programme objectives, etc are accurately and consistently communicated across stakeholders - Support the Chief Operating Officer to develop and maintain organisation's digital and online media presence, developing and curating content where necessary Desired Experience : - Around 5 years of relevant experience in fund raising and/or communications - Prior experience in leading national/multi-state level NGO in a fundraising/ communications/ brand building role will be preferred - A track record of providing strong strategic and operational leadership in Fundraising and Communications space. - A track record of writing and obtaining grants from Funding agencies and under CSR, as well as other fund raising techniques, for offline and online fund raising - Strong track record of managing the funds of donors and grant makers with proper reporting structures - Strong track record of success in leading and managing Communications function - Experience of influencing senior internal and external stakeholders, and communicating to diverse audience
