Manager - Fraud Detection & Analytics - Merchant Frauds

- Responsible for devising the set of rules & policies to prevent frauds and using statistical techniques to identify fraud patterns and fine-tune risk rules to minimize fraud ratios.

- Ensure effective risk management system in place for monitoring and control of the overall portfolio of the company.

- Own the existing fraud management system and provide continuous solutions to improve the quality of transaction assessment.

- Work closely with merchant onboarding team to understand business models to setup tailor-made risk templates.

- Provide feedback on systems, processes, Risk policies with the changing business needs to Senior Management.

- To meet/exceed and maintain service levels as assigned by management.

- Identify/analyze E-commerce fraud trends to develop risk mitigation techniques to curb frauds.

- Constant review of the risk policies to eliminate false positives and minimize CTS & FTS ratio.

- Publish periodic MIS reports, statistical analysis reports etc., with the management.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Any Graduate (MBA is a plus) with 5-10 years of experience, preferably payment gateways and acquiring banks.

- Expertise in using Automated fraud prevention solution.

- Expertise in setting up Risk rules, templates & Risk Engine workflow.

- Thorough understanding of E-commerce, Fraud and Chargebacks.

- Configure Fraud monitoring

- Knowledge of transaction assessment.

- Strong penchant for automation.

- Prior knowledge of tools like Python, R etc., is a plus.

Behavior skills: Solid verbal & written communication skills in English, Energetic, enterprising, aggressive and result oriented, Critical thinking, Problem solving skills and Decision making.
