Manager - Financial Reporting/General Ledger - IT

We have an opportunity with a exciting startup providing AI and SAAS based solutions to corporate clients having Head Office in London and presence in US, EMEA, APAC including India.

Note : Position is working 2-3 days from office and remaining days from home. Its 5 days working profile.

- Candidate should have experience in working with Startup / IT Companies / ITES Companies / Software development companies

- Candidate should have experience in financial reporting, financial consolidation and general reporting as per INDAS and US GAAP

Job Role:

- This role is global and will support all aspects of record to report and audits.

- Must have a strong background in working on sophisticated ERP system and technical knowledge of Indian and International accounting GAAP.

- Applicant will be improving financial reporting and GL operations by creating policies, framework, standardized processes, and implementing efficient financial systems.

- Applicant has to handle the entire gamut of financial reporting & audits of a rapidly growing organization and help in scaling the global financial reporting processes and systems.

- Performing month/year-end closing activities and prepare necessary reconciliations as per global - closing calendar and country GAAP.

- Ensuring the accuracy of General Ledger balances.

- Should have experience in global consolidation of financial statements.

- Maintain general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries for accruals and actualization

- Reviewing balance sheet clearing accounts on a periodical basis and prepare reconciliation for any open and clearing items

- Reviewing capex clearing account and ensure timely capitalization.

- Perform intercompany accounts reconciliation and ensures that intercompany invoicing follows inter-company agreements

- Adhere to standard accounting principles, management guidelines, and company procedures

- Supporting controllers & auditors in conducting internal and external audits

- Preparation of audit schedules and handling audit requirements

- Driving automation through financial systems

- Drafting Accounting policies and Memos as per applicable accounting GAAPs

- Managing book keeping, month end reconciliation, general accounting and thoroughly analytical aspects

Requirements:

- The successful candidate should possess the CA / CPA / MBA

- Relevant years of relevant experience in GL accounting and audits of India and International operations

- Experience of managing ERP system and other financial systems.

- Preferably NetSuite, Chargebee etc.

- Proficiency in managing accounting of high growth operations in the global environment.

- Good understanding of business and financial issues

- Ability to work on tight deadlines.
