Job Title: Manager - Financial Reporting & Compliance

Reporting to: Controller - Financial Reporting & Compliance
Location: Thane
Role Summary :
The Financial Reporting & Compliance Manager would be responsible for all the Financial Reporting & Compliances including but not restricted to leading on Annual Statutory Audits, Quarterly Limited Reviews, Monthly Closing & Reporting, Compliances, Planning, Related Party Transaction Analysis & Reporting, Accounting Guidance, Due Diligence etc. This position will work with Auditors, Businesses, Cross Functional Teams within and outside Finance and other Professionals/Service Providers in carrying out his/her responsibilities.
Roles and Responsibility :
Organization Objectives
- Developing & overseeing Financial Control systems to prevent or deal with violations of Internal
- Policies/SOP's with highest Corporate Governance Standards
- Monitor adherence to company's policies and building upon robust Policy Documentation/SOP's/Levels of Authority
- Revising procedures periodically to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues
- Statutory/Reporting/Accounting Compliances
- Preparation/Review of the Annual/Quarterly Financial Statements in line with applicable Accounting Standards and Disclosure per SEBI Listing Obligations & Disclosure Requirement
- Leading the Annual Statutory Audit/ Quarterly Limited Reviews/Internal Audits and other applicable Audits
- Responsible for the Monthly Closing & MIS Reporting as per Organization needs
- Preparation of Responses to BoD/Audit Committee/Shareholders queries
- Leading on IFC/ITGC Testing
- Ensuring Robust Accounting processes and maintaining hygiene in the Accounting Balances. Custodian of the Accounting Policies & guiding the Teams on the same
- Recommending changes to policies or procedures to comply with new laws and Regulations.
Cross Functional Coordination and Contribution
- Must possess strong communication skills with ability to participate in calls and contribute to presentation of financial results at various levels
- Deliverable Oriented communication with various Audit Teams (External/Internal)
- Extensive Communication with key Stakeholders across business functions (Supply Chain, Sourcing, Sales etc.)
- Guiding other functions by researching and interpreting various laws and its application on operational matters
- An analytical mind able to visualize the complexities of procedures and regulations and devise processes accordingly
- Sharing of Best Practices across functions to achieve Organization Objectives
Role Specific Competencies:
- Excellent knowledge of Financial Reporting/Disclosure as per Ind AS/SEBI Listing Obligation & Disclosure Requirements, Leading on Accounting Closure, Accounting Hygiene, Guidance/Advising the Teams on SOP's/Controls/DOA etc.
- Remuneration will be as per industry standard.
