Manager - Financial Planning & Analytics

Roles & Responsibilities:

The position supports the Director of Business Planning and Analytics (FP&A) US. The FP&A group is a dynamic financial and operational resource across the company and reports into the CFO's office. It is responsible for reporting and analyzing operational performance and subsequent financial results, as well as identifying and achieving operational and financial improvements across Progress Residential and Front Yard Residential. This critical team member will be responsible for developing, automating, and reporting monthly financial results that will be leveraged by business unit leaders to drive key financial decisions.

Skills & Competencies required:

- Develop and deliver operational recurring reporting for key area of operations

- Analyze current and past trends in expense management

- Analyze current and past trends and compare with key competitors

- Develop financial models and efficiencies to equip business owners to drive financial results

- Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance

- Support development of budgeting, financial forecasting, operating plan

- Improve performance by evaluating processes to drive efficiencies

- Develop automations for current and future focused reporting and business needs

- Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives

- Supporting Senior Management Team and Departments heads with in-depth analysis

- Prepare presentations for Senior Management Team

Education & relevant experience

- MBA, majoring in Finance

- Proven experience in Python/SQL programming

- Advanced analytical, Excel, and PowerPoint skills

- Experience with data tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Prophix, Sales Force, Yardi etc. preferred.

- Experienced in data analysis, automation, and dashboard creation

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to work effectively with people across cultures, time zones and geographies

- Proactive and willing to learn and work at grass-root level

- Three to five years of work-ex post MBA preferred.
