Job Title: Manager- FP&A Transformation

Job Location: Bangalore, India

The FP&A team in the Global Finance Center (GFC) serves as an extended arm of the (XYZ-Hide company name) Businesses and supports wing to wing FP&A activities across Sales and Revenue, Budgeting & Cost Management, Working Capital Management and Finance Functional Support. The GFC FP&A team is organized as a Business-Centric model to ensure tight integration with HON businesses. Candidates will get an opportunity to work in a highly challenging & business facing role, where success is determined by their ability to understand dynamic business needs & effectively utilizing their finance & technical skills.

This position will partner extensively with the VP of Finance Transformations, VP Business Analysis and Planning, Senior Director Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) - Global Finance Centre, and (XYZ) business FP&A Leaders across the company on the various initiatives such as HOS Gold, Standards Deployment, Direct Access Strategy, Productivity Projects, Data Governance, GFC Strategy etc. The candidate will be the SCRUM Master and manage multiple Transformation projects. This position will be based in Bangalore, India.

- Act as primary interface between SBG's and XYZ Global Finance Center

- Provide strategic and intellectual leadership to create and execute a clear strategy for Enterprise Management Reporting Standards Deployment

- Partner with SBG Focal/Process Owners to Align on Enterprise Standards Design, Development and Deployment roadmap

- Product Development - Ensure the Management Reporting Standards Developed are most efficient design for manufacturability (DFM), Built In Quality(BIQ) during development and deployment and Continued Focus on Enhancements and New Releases

- Track and Measure Decommission of Current Recurring Reports across SBGs

- Overall Leadership for the finance transformation from influencing during the discussion phase, design phase, development and deployment phase.

- Manage Multiple sponsors and large numbers of key stakeholders for the various projects

- Partner with Cross functional teams in understanding business pain points and arrive at appropriate IT and/or Re-engineering solutions

- Partner with Finance BI COE team and Enterprise IT in Ensuring Management Reporting standards have a well-defined and automated/simplified monthly repeatable processes

- Provide overall Change Management Leadership, working with the Leadership team, and HR to achieve effective change thus ensuring success of the Transformation projects.

- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, review and oversee updating of master project plans. Ensure that plan components are adequately documented how the project will be executed, monitored and controlled. Ensure that the plan adequately covers topics such as Scope Management, Schedule Management, Quality Management, Resource Management, Communications Management, Project Change Management, Risk Management, Procurement Management and others as deemed necessary to manage the project

- Continuously improve project management tool kits and methodologies used within GFC FP&A. Provide expertise and consulting to project managers in the process of project management and in the softer skills of team dynamics, team building and group motivation.

- Provide mentoring, coaching and direction setting to team members and project managers.

- Ensure project team, staff and manager training and development.

- Manage and implement project responsibilities from inception to completion including: cost, benefits, quality, scope, and schedule

- Knowledge and/or experience with widely successful Agile techniques, tools approaches User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games, Jira, Burn -down techniques.

- The candidate will act as Scrum Master for GFC FP&A team and will be the guardian of the process and artefacts with focus on leading teams through continuous improvement.

- He/She will keep the teams focused on their sprint goals while staying connected to their releases, product lines (FP&A standards) and the company's goals.

- Resolving cross-functional issues at project level and Managing Projects Issues and escalating when necessary

- Regularly and effectively communicate project and team status throughout the organization levels on progress, issues, and opportunities

- Deliver project customer satisfaction and productivity commitments

- Establish and maintain business relationships with customers and stakeholders

- Execute and adhere to Phase Gate Review Plans and drive meetings with core project teams and governance committees to review transition progress, training effectiveness, Staffing

Additional Skills:

- Minimum 8 years of increasingly responsible experience, with at least five years of managing increasingly complex projects in a technical environment. Able to work effectively and efficiently toward goals in a complex, diverse environment with multiple and changing demands. Known for effective leadership of staff. Passion for client satisfaction.

- Techno-functional background consisting of Finance and IT backgrounds

- Strong understanding of six sigma tools - linkage and usage Working knowledge of MS project to build project plans

- Excellent presentation skills

- Basic understanding of Financial Analysis - Project costing / Cost-Benefit Analysis

- Knowledge of internal & external factors affecting a project for eg: Export compliance

- Ability to drive and maintain adherence to project schedules and budgets

- Excellent interpersonal & competent analytical skills

- Demonstrated impact of leadership ability

- Strong knowledge of MS Office ( Word, Excel, Powerpoint ), MS Project and MS Visio preferable

- Strong team player attitude to complete necessary requirements on time.

- Ability to work through obstacles under challenging circumstances

- Should be able to work any of the shift timings as required by the project ( current timing would be 1.00 pm to 10.00 pm)

Qualification and Professional Experience:

Required Skills/Experience:

- Qualification: Post Graduation - CA, ICWA, MBA-Finance. Any others masters with relevant experience can also be considered.

- First level Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I)

- Experience playing the Scrum Master role for at least one year for a project that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory.

- Experience using Agile performance metrics to drive accountability and continuous improvement

- PMP certified Project Manager

- Can maintain a high level of energy and engagement

- A love to learn and improve as a Scrum Master, always looking to bring something new and helpful to the team

- Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency

- Knowledge of numerous well documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach(example: numerous Burndown techniques, numerous Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc)

- Demonstrates superior inter-personal skills, conflict resolution, and negotiating skills

Preferred Skills/Experience (Any of these is a plus)

- Outstanding record of project management success, both in results achieved and in use of professional methodology.

- Pro-active in developing and implementing strategies that significantly mitigate risk.

- Second level Scrum Master certification (CSP, PSM II)

- Experience playing the Scrum Master role for at least two years for a software development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory.

- Knowledge of other Agile approaches: XP, Kanban, Crystal, FDD, etc

- Knowledge and/or experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games

- Applicable knowledge of the technologies used by the team

- Experience applying a wide variety of well documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach(example: numerous Burndown techniques, numerous Retrospective formats, handling bugs,etc)

- Previous experience as a team lead

- Excellent communication and mentoring skills
