Manager - Financial Planning & Analysis - Ship Management Firm

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to assess the performance and the overall financial health of the organization.

- Conduct comprehensive analysis of financial data, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and market data, to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.

- Build and maintain complex financial models to support strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities. Analyze the impact of different scenarios on financial outcomes.

- Verify data accuracy, consistency, and integrity. Implement data quality processes to enhance data reliability.

- Perform ad-hoc financial analyses in response to specific inquiries or projects from senior management.

- Analyze costs and expenses across different finance operations and departments. Identify cost-saving opportunities and provide recommendations.

- Collaborate with finance teams to analyze budget variances, track spending, and assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts.

- Create informative and visually appealing dashboards and reports to communicate financial insights to senior management and stakeholders.
