About the Company :

The client is a Non-Banking Finance Company (NBFC) registered with Reserve Bank of India (RBI) as ND-SI (Non-Deposit taking systemically important) and is listed on both the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE). The company has a book size of close to Rs 6000 cr.

Lending Business :

The company lends primarily to three sectors :

Real Estate Lending : The client provides short to medium term loans to real estate developers at different stages of project implementation including the project approval stage funding or as a last mile funding

SME and Retail Lending : The client provides financial solutions for micro, small and medium entity/s by providing short to medium term loans for acquiring capital assets like machinery /equipment, Loan against property (LAP), Loan against Property Rentals, etc.

Affordable Housing Finance : The company has has an aggressive Affordable Housing finance business and is progressively venturing into tier 2/3/4 towns.

Job Title : Financial Planning and Analysis

Location : Lower Parel, Mumbai

Roles & Responsibilities :

The Financial Planning Analysis (FPA) Manager would join our finance team to provide financial direction and insight to enable stakeholders to make the decisions that matter quickly. The role will include providing analysis and planning support to maintain and enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and performance of the business.

1. Understand our industry, competitive landscape, and our strategic plan

2. Build a 3 to 5 year scalable financial model linked to business strategy and drivers of service lines

3. Build rollover near term forecasts with the most feasible assumptions

4. Build sensitivity and scenario analysis for the KPI and the impact on Key financial items

5. Build accurate Resource forecasts against the business requirements with Scenario analysis and recommendation

6. Demonstrate a focus on forecasting, budgeting, and planning

7. Build a relationship with the operation finance team to track actual financial performances for planning and analysis

8. Track actuals against the planned line items at a detailed level

9. Create and maintain Dashboard reports for the performance of KPIs and financial line items against the planned items with detailed variance analysis

10. Identify and solve complex data integrity issues and collaborate with stakeholders on the resolution

11. Manage Stakeholder relationship with Service line leads for reporting financial performances, providing the analysis and recommendations for meeting the targets

12. Support the leadership team by evaluating new business decisions for financial viability

13. Ad hoc business partner support

14. Identify areas to help improve business performance

15. Manage and develop assigned FPA analysts on your team

Requirements and Qualifications :

1. 1-3 years of experience in a FP&A role
