Title: Manager - Financial Planning &amp; Analysis Location: Bangalore Reporting to: Chief Financial Officer Role Summary: The role entails analyzing the monthly financials, drive planning and forecasting on monthly basis. Key Responsibilities: - Generating insights about the business through on-going analysis of operational performance in collaboration with other functional teams. - Prepare the revenue and cost budgets independently based on the input given by the SBUs and validated by the senior management. Administer and regularly review all financial plans and compare to actual results with a view to identify, explain, and correct variances as appropriate. - Participate in sales pipeline discussions to prepare revenue forecasts and analyze reasons for variances from prior expectations, if any. Alert and keep senior management abreast of such variances. - Participate in product pricing and review proposals prepared by Sales and Marketing teams. Participate in Capital Allocation Decisions. Should have a good acumen of the business and product-market fit. - Compiling, verifying, analyzing, interpreting and disseminating critical financial data (actual, forecast and budgeted) to all major stakeholders - Manage and monitor organizational cash flow and continuously assess the financial efficacy of operations. Maintain internal control and safeguards for receipt of revenue, costs, budgets and actual expenditures to bring financial discipline. Forecast cash requirements for short-to-long term and manage working capital. - Instituting the monthly financial results and reporting process for multiple lines of business including detailed reporting analysis at the portfolio and consolidated level. - Identify avenues and develop financial models to assess growth opportunities/M&amp;As for the business. - Developing and implementing more integrated reporting process to improve financial performance, controls and ensure the delivery of financial requirements. - Creating a detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities and solutions for a business. - Budgeting and forecasting - Cash Flow, P&amp;L and Balance Sheet - Building Strong Analytical Reports for Management. - Liasoning with Stakeholders / Investors Desired Experience, Skills, and Attitude: - 3-5 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Financial Analysis, Financial Planning Business Finance, P&amp;L Impact Analysis, Planning Analytics, Revenue Budgeting,FP&amp;A, Balance Sheet Analysis. - Persuasive writing communication skills in English - Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks in an entrepreneurial environment with speed and an eye for detail and quality - Highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently. - Data interpretation and analytical skills. - Able to exercise independent judgment and take action on it - Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills - Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills - Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail - Highly self-motivated and directed - Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure - Strong customer service orientation - Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment Education: Graduate/Postgraduate in Commerce, desirable InternCA. Years of Experience: Preferably a CA / MBA with relevant experience
