Manager - Financial Planning & Analysis - Consumer Firm - CA

Job Purpose:

To Prepare Brand Budgets/Estimates, Monitor Brand Financials, Support Commercial team for Brand initiatives and provide various Analyses as required by Management.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Managing budgets

- Preparation of Brand Budgets / Latest Estimates and Strategic Plans Managing budgets

2. Collating, preparing and interpreting reports, budgets, accounts, commentaries and financial statements

- Prepare the report of Brand P&Ls to Leadership Team and Marketing for the Reviews with Division, Margin Reconciliations by Brand / Category and related Exhibits - SPIs, Category Operating P&L, Vertical P&L

- P&L projections for rolling 6 months based on Business Planning Process (BPP) Forecasts for Leadership team and highlighting of key trends

- Analysis of Brand profitability with the help of Margin Reconciliations and monitoring the same versus Budget / Latest Estimates

- Co-ordination with Marketing/ Customer Marketing Function for finalising promotional schemes/programs by analysing its financial impact on Brand profitability and monitoring of spends versus Budget / Latest Estimates

- Analysis of Price Variances and Revaluation Variances

- Margin analysis and other data required as part of Monthly / Quarterly commentary to Division/Corporate

- Standard Margin and Cost of Promotion data to Customer Development for CBP-ROI analysis

- Financial Support to respective Brand / Category Cross-functional Commercial Teams for various Brand initiatives viz Promotions, New launches / Relaunches.

- Competitor Profitability Analysis and market trend

- Corporate Reporting

3. Reviewing and conducting cost evaluation

- Co-ordination with Supply Chain for Material Standards and Quarterly Standard Cost Release across Plants and Warehouses

- Calculation of financial impact of price revisions for Raw and Packing materials and monitoring of the same versus Budget / Latest Estimates

- Purchase price negotiation and price fixing jointly with Supply Chain for Outsourced Products viz Toothbrushes, Mouthwash and Personal Care products from different contract manufacturers

- Maintaining Pricing in System ( SAP) and custodian for accurate Pricing

- Actual SKU wise Margins calculations

- Releasing Purchase Orders for Raw and Packing Materials

Qualification and Experience:

- CA (mandatory)

- 4 plus years experience in Financial Analysis and Planning role
