Our client is a chemical multinational based out of US and is one of the leading players in the industry. With a global turnover in excess of USD 4 Billion and an employee base of 7000+, they are expanding their operations worldwide.

India is their 3rd largest market and accounts to about 1/3rd of their Asia business.

Description

Reporting directly to the Head FP&A and commercial you will be responsible to

- Prepare business forecasts according to business schedules (BFRs, budget)

- Analyse actual results against forecasts and support India region general manager and functional leaders to deliver the budget with proposals

- Remind and support India region general manager and functional leaders to execute India and Asia business growth and pricing strategies

- Provide accurate and timely market-based cost information for profit analysis on customer and/or grade with forward-looking concepts 

- Support projects of the region and plan as finance representative (restructuring, capex, growth...)

- Mentor and guide a team of 2 members

Profile

- Chartered Accountant with 8- 10 years of business finance work experience 

- Experience of international reporting with multiple entities & also reporting to the Division/Corporate 

- Understanding of working capital management 

- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, meet deadlines and be able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment 

- Well-versed with Indian & US GAAP
